Use It For Hard Turning Applications Such As Hardened Steel, Tool Steel, Case-Hardened Steel And Other Hard Materials. This Insert Provides 2 Usable Cbn-Tipped Edges With Short Cbn Tip Design And Chamfer, Hone Edge Preparation. Cbn Is Used When Hardened Materials Or Abrasive Cast Irons Generate Heat And Wear That Standard Carbide Cannot Handle. The Wiper Geometry Is Used To Improve Surface Finish And Productivity In Hard Turning Or Cast Iron Finishing. Key Dimensions Include 0.500" Ic, 0.187" Thickness, 0.031" Corner Radius.
