The Grade Tc3020 Substrate Is Sialon Ceramic, Selected For Superior Wear Resistance From High Chemical Stability, Strong Flank And Notch Wear Resistance, And Excellent High-Temperature Strength. This Round Positive Insert Is Supplied As A Positive Turning Insert Without Hole With Uncoated Finish And No Chipbreaker Designation. Key Dimensions Include 0.500" Ic, 0.187" Thickness, 0.250" Corner Radius, Round Included Angle. The Insert Uses Chamfer, Hone Edge Preparation To Support Cutting Edge Strength. Recommended Workpiece Materials Include Hrsa. Iso Application Range: S15-S25. Superior Wear Resistance From High Chemical Stability, Strong Flank And Notch Wear Resistance, And Excellent High-Temperature Strength. Ingersoll Positions Tc3020 For Superalloy Work Where Wear Resistance, Chemical Stability, Flank Wear Control And Notch Wear Resistance Are Important, With Typical Turning Data Around 650-1150 Sfm And .004-.016 Ipr In Super Alloys.
