The Self-Stabilizing Pyramid Point Design Stabilizes The Drill On Contact With The Workpiece And The Open Flute Structure Efficiently Transports Chips While Maintaining Strength At High Feed Rates. The Sculpted Gash Allows Chips To Easily Flow Away From The Drill Center For Reduced Cutting Forces Over Competitive Three-Flute Designs. The Minimal Margin Design Reduces Frictional Heat Generated By Excessive Margin Contact With The Workpiece While The Parallel Design Maintains Contact Width As The Drill Margin Wears, For Ultimate Performance Consistency. The Sgs Hi-Percarb® Series 131N Drills Are Offered Uncoated With A Bright Finish Or With Ti-Namite-B (Tib2) High Performance Coating.
