This Insert Is Intended For Steel Finishing And Semi-Finishing Where Part Finish, Dimensional Consistency And Low Cutting Friction Are Important. The L-C Chipbreaker Supports The Listed Finish Turning Application. In The Proper Application, Cermet Can Reduce Cost Per Part Versus A Carbide Finishing Grade By Running Cleanly And Holding A Fine Edge On Stable Cuts.
