Balax Thredfloer Taps Form Threads By Displacing Material Rather Than Cutting Chips, Helping Eliminate Chip-Control Problems While Producing Strong, Accurately Gaged Internal Threads. The Thredfloer Design Is Based On Balax Balanced Axially Technology, Which Forms The Lead Crests On Pitch To Help Reduce Axial Thrust, Tapping Torque And Premature Tap Wear. Cold-Forming Pipe Tap For Straight Pipe Thread Forms Including Nps, Npsc, Npsm And Npsf. Primary Application: Best For Non-Ferrous; Good For Steel & Stainless Steel.
